Trattoria Dopo Teatro has a number of private rooms that can host a variety
of
parties and events.
Each room is unique with its own charm, yet never strays from the restaurant’s
overall feeling of a beautiful Italian villa. The entire restaurant can accommodate
parties of up to 310 people. We can also provide catering services for off-site
events of up to 500 people.
The Main Dining Room comfortably
accommodates 100 people for a sit-down dinner, 200 for cocktails and passed
hors d’oeuvres. The
room features a dramatic 24-foot long antique oak bar with its original brass
fixtures, 20-foot high ceilings with stone support beams, cozy dining alcoves
and soft golden-hued walls scattered with Italian cinema photography.
Party guests will feel especially festive in the restaurant’s Theater
Room (35 sit-down/50 cocktails) which features a skylight and wall
frescos of classic costumed theater characters.
At the bottom of the restaurant’s terra cotta stairway is The Secret
Garden. One of New York City’s most beautiful interior gardens, The
Secret Garden (60 sit-down/80 cocktails) features a stone waterfall
and hand-painted tiling on the floor and table tops. Brick walls with glass-paned
doors surround the garden and open into other private dining rooms, creating
the feeling of being in a beautiful Italian villa. In addition to hosting parties
and events, The Secret Garden is a favorite location for wedding receptions
and bridal showers.
